Your mission at Voi involves working in two different areas, depending on workload and suitability. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles, ensuring our e-bikes are in top shape and providing strong support to our team on the ground. Additionally, you will utilise our vans to perform various tasks in the Glasgow area, ensuring our operations run efficiently.
Here are some exciting tasks awaiting you as a Fleet Specialist:
- Ensuring the logistics of collecting and providing Voi e-bikes
- Searching for and collecting damaged e-bikes
- Battery replacement
- Performing quick on-site repairs of the e-bikes
- Diagnosing and repairing broken vehicles
- Recycling and dismantling vehicles that cannot be repaired
- Assisting with the acceptance, packaging, and provision of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse
- Supporting our on-site team as needed, whether it’s identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, or setting up fallen vehicles
What you’ll need to embark:
- Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences and no major offences, meeting the requirements for our e-Van insurance
- In-depth knowledge of your city and experience driving in your city
- Responsible team player who can manage tasks alone and work well in a group
- Ability to motivate others and share knowledge within the team
- Pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions, and works hard to reach team targets and OKRs
- Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
- Can react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic)
- Physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads
PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role.
Job conditions:
- Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (2-week shift pattern)
- Working hours: flexibility to work shifts, including possible shifts during nights and weekends
- Contract type: 4 months Fixed Term contract to commence with
