YOUR MISSION AT VOI As Central Operations Manager In-field , you will play a pivotal role in optimizing in-field operations across all vehicle types. With a focus on reducing one of our largest operational costs and driving revenue-generating initiatives, you will lead efforts to improve efficiency, scalability, and innovation in in-field workflows. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and refine market setups, balancing in-house and 3PL approaches to maximize operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Standardisation Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures specific to in-field operations, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all markets. Set and track KPIs to measure in-field performance and identify areas for improvement. In-field Operations Development Lead initiatives to optimize in-field operations & efficiency, including rebalancing efforts and revenue-generating activities to reduce operational costs, improve vehicle availability, and ensure seamless integration & optimization of new vehicle operations. Evaluate and refine market setups by balancing in-house and 3PL approaches to maximize flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Build scalable processes and leverage innovative solutions to support markets with in-field improvements. Data Analysis Analyze in-field operational data to identify performance gaps and prioritize actionable improvements. Monitor the impact of aging fleet trends and adjust in-field workflows to align with evolving operational demands. Assess the effectiveness of in-house and 3PL operations and recommend changes to optimize cost and efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with repair, safety, workforce management, and market teams to align on operational priorities and balance workload management effectively. Facilitate collaboration across departments to promote best practices in in-field operations and resource allocation. Continuous Improvement Stay ahead of operational trends and leverage innovative tools and methods to drive in-field efficiency and scalability. Proactively address operational challenges by understanding in-field complexity and anticipating future needs as fleet composition evolves. Ensure that all optimization efforts are designed to benefit both in-house and 3PL operations, driving synergies across the organization. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, specifically in-field operations. Bachelor\’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions. Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Prior experience with fleet operations or vehicle management is a plus. WHY VOI?
