You’ll split your time between the warehouse and the streets, using our e‑vans to move, repair and recharge the fleet. If you enjoy being on the move, solving practical problems and seeing the impact of your work every day, this role is for you.

Here are some of the tasks awaiting you as a Fleet Specialist:

  • In‑field operations (driving & logistics)
    • Collect and deploy our fleet in the Aberdeen area to ensure availability in the right locations
    • Search for and collect damaged or incorrectly parked vehicles
    • Replace batteries in the field to keep vehicles charged and ready to ride
    • Support the local team with tasks such as clearing parking areas and setting up fallen vehicles
  • Workshop & maintenance (repairs & safety)
    • Perform quick inspections and on‑site repairs of vehicles
    • Diagnose and repair damaged or non‑functional vehicles
    • Recycle and dismantle vehicles that can’t be repaired, following our sustainability standards
    • Help receive, unpack and prepare new vehicles and batteries
    • Keep the workspace organised, safe and efficient.

You’ll work closely with the rest of the Aberdeen team and your Operations Manager to hit our fleet availability and quality targets.

What you’ll need to embark:

  • Mandatory requirement – Driving licence: You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points and no major offences, to meet our e-van insurance requirements. Licence checks will be conducted during the recruitment process.
  • In‑depth knowledge of your city and you’re used to driving in your city
  • Responsible team player that can manage tasks alone and also work well together in a group
  • Ability to motivate others and to share knowledge within the team
  • Pragmatic problem‑solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions and works hard to reach the team targets and OKR’s
  • Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
  • Has the ability to react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic…)
  • You have a physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads

PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role.

Job conditions:

  • Shifts: Flexibility to work shifts, including possible shifts during nights and weekends
  • Working hours: Part Time
  • Contract type: 6 month fixed‑term contract, with the potential for extension depending on performance and business needs
