Your mission at Voi as a Fleet Specialist involves working in two different areas, depending on workload and suitability. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles, ensuring our scooters are in top shape and providing strong support to our team on the ground. Additionally, you will utilise our vans to perform various tasks in the Glasgow area, ensuring our operations run efficiently.
Here are some exciting tasks awaiting you as a Fleet Specialist:
- Ensuring the logistics of collecting and providing Voi scooters
- Searching for and collecting damaged scooters
- Battery replacement
- Performing quick on-site repairs of the scooters
- Diagnosing and repairing broken vehicles
- Recycling and dismantling vehicles that cannot be repaired
- Assisting with the acceptance, packaging, and provision of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse
- Supporting our on-site team as needed, whether it's identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, or setting up fallen vehicles
What you'll need to embark:
- Mandatory requirement - Driving licence: You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points and no major offences, to meet our e-van insurance requirements. Licence checks will be conducted during the recruitment process.
- In-depth knowledge of your city and experience driving in your city
- Responsible team player who can manage tasks alone and work well in a group
- Ability to motivate others and share knowledge within the team
- Pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions, and works hard to reach team targets and OKRs
- Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic...)
- Physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads
PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role.
Job conditions:
- Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (Fixed shift pattern)
- Working hours: Middle shift flexibility to work shifts including possible shifts during nights and weekends
- Contract type: 6 months Fixed Term contract
