Your mission at Voi is to work as a Fleet Specialist, with the possibility of working in two different areas depending on workload and suitability. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles, ensuring our e-bikes are in top shape and providing strong support to our team on the ground.

In the in-field team, you'll utilise our vans to perform various tasks in the Glasgow area, ensuring our operations run efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the logistics of collecting and providing Voi e-bikes
  • Searching for and collecting damaged e-bikes
  • Battery replacement
  • Performing quick on-site repairs of the e-bikes
  • Diagnosing and repairing broken vehicles
  • Recycling and dismantling vehicles that cannot be repaired
  • Assisting with the acceptance, packaging, and provision of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse
  • Supporting our on-site team as needed, including identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, or setting up fallen vehicles

What you're expected to bring:

  • Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences and no major offences, meeting the requirements for our e-Van insurance
  • In-depth knowledge of your city and experience driving in it
  • Responsible team player who can manage tasks alone and work well in a group
  • Ability to motivate others and share knowledge within the team
  • Pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions, and works hard to reach team targets and OKRs
  • Willingness to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
  • Ability to react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic)
  • Physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads

PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role.

Job conditions:

  • Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (2-week shift pattern)
  • Working hours: flexibility to work shifts, including possible shifts during nights and weekends
  • Contract type: 4 months Fixed Term contract to commence with
