In our mechanical team, you'll maintain and repair our vehicles, keeping our fleet in excellent condition and supporting colleagues out in the field. In our in-field team, you'll use one of our electric vans to carry out operations across London, ensuring our service runs safely, smoothly and reliably for every rider. Your Team Lead will guide where you're most needed each day, so no two shifts are the same.
What you’ll do:

- Locate and retrieve damaged vehicles.
- Swap out batteries to keep vehicles ride-ready.
- Carry out quick on-site repairs.
- Diagnose and fix more complex mechanical issues.
- Dismantle and recycle vehicles that can't be repaired.
- Help receive, check and prepare new vehicles and batteries at the warehouse.
- Support the wider team in the field repositioning vehicles, clearing parking spots and flagging issues.
You'll be part of a team that shares knowledge, looks out for each other and takes pride in the work they do.
What you’ll bring:
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points and no major offences). This is a firm requirement for our e-van insurance.
- Confidence navigating London by van in varying traffic and weather conditions.
- A collaborative mindset, you enjoy working with others and are happy to take initiative when needed.
- Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to a respectful, supportive team culture.
- A practical, problem-solving approach, with a focus on getting things done.
- Calm and courteous under pressure (heavy traffic, tricky parking, it happens).
- Physical ability to handle and move vehicles and batteries safely, using the tools and equipment provided.
- DBS check may be required for this role.
The conditions:
- Location: London.
- Hours: 5-out-of-7 shift pattern. Fixed daytime hours Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, 08:00–16:00. Occasional weekend flexibility may be needed.
