Vogue Sourcing is an exciting fast-paced and dynamic fashion supplier with offices around the globe. We are searching for a Senior Jersey Designer to join our team based in Leicester.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating and developing original design ideas, concepts, embroideries, fabrications and seasonal themes
  • Sourcing of relevant fabrics to meet the design requirements
  • Creating specs/tech packs
  • Trend packs/colour inspiration
  • Managing and developing junior members of the team
  • Providing support to the Design Manager
  • Liaising with Account Manager regularly
  • Liaising with factories and overseas offices
  • Range reviews with Directors
  • Maintaining strong relationship with Buyers
  • Work to departmental deadlines and critical paths to ensure product is supplied within an effective timeframe to the customer
  • Managing expenses and returns
  • Inspiration and sourcing trips, including opportunity for overseas travel

ABOUT YOU:

  • +4 years minimum background in design
  • Good understanding of illustrator and/or photoshop
  • Creative and trend-driven with a good eye for colour and fabric
  • Flexible and able to travel to Manchester and occasional overseas travel
  • Attentive to detail with the ability to think creatively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team player and able to build relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • To be able to deal with all challenges in a calm and positive manner
