Vogue Sourcing is an exciting fast-paced and dynamic fashion supplier with offices around the globe. We are searching for an Assistant Boyswear Designer to join our team based in Manchester.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support designers, senior designers, and the design manager in developing original concepts, embroideries, fabrications, and seasonal themes.
- Source relevant fabrics to align with design requirements.
- Create detailed specs and tech packs for factories.
- Track and manage key dates to ensure adherence to the critical path.
- Liaise with factories and overseas offices to maintain smooth production workflows.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers.
- Participate in inspiration and sourcing trips.
- Develop trend and colour inspiration packs.
- Manage sample returns and provide general team administrative support.
- Maintain office and production room organization, including fabric sorting.
- Handle incoming post, ensuring it reaches relevant teams and organizing new samples.
- Assist all team members with various tasks as needed.
ABOUT YOU:
- A graduate with a degree in Fashion or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Illustrator and/or Photoshop is desirable.
- Creative and trend-aware, with a strong eye for colour and fabric.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team player and able to build relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- To be able to deal with all challenges in a calm and positive manner.
