p Vogue Sourcing is an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic global fashion supplier, with offices around the world. We are looking for a talented Garment Tech to join our team in Manchester or Leicester. /p p br /p p strong ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES: /strong /p ul li Liaising with designers, and adapting designs to suit production methods /li li Working closely with Suppliers and Offshore Teams /li li Creating Workbooks for styles /li li Overseeing fittings of first samples, Grades. PP samples and Gold Seals /li li Attending Fit sessions with Customers /li li Update Workbooks after Fit Sessions with Clear instructions and pictures if needed to make amendments /li li Undertaking quality evaluations of materials and checking the quality of the final product /li li Responding to product queries, including complaints, from wholesalers and customers. /li li Making sure garments can be produced within budget /li li Internally Fitting Womens, Ladies and Childrenswear samples on stand and update Workbooks before attending Fit Session with Next Techs /li /ul p br /p p strong ABOUT YOU: /strong /p ul li An understanding of manufacturing, textiles and garment construction is essential /li li Ability to work alone as well as in a team /li li Able to work under tight deadlines and cope with pressure /li li Have a keen interest in fashion and textiles /li li Demonstrate an understanding of pattern cutting, construction and manufacturing techniques /li li Technical knowledge gained preferably within fast paced commercial or supplier environment /li li Flexible approach to be able to adjust to the constantly changing needs of the business. /li li Ability to convey technical information clearly in layman’s terms /li li Exceptional eye for technical detail to consistently ensure the correct documentation is used and followed /li li Applied technical knowledge of fabrics and threads /li li Highly organised with good prioritisation skills /li li Confident and clear communication skills; both verbal and written to work productively alongside other Product teams and external suppliers /li /ul p br /p p strong OUR BENEFITS PACKAGE: /strong /p ul li Flexible working opportunity /li li Vitality private medical insurance (after 2 years service) /li li Enhanced maternity pay /li li 25 days holiday plus bank holidays /li li Buying and selling holiday scheme /li li Birthday day off /li li Sample Sales /li li Opportunity to travel /li li Pension scheme /li li Sample sales /li li Bike2work scheme /li /ul
