Vogue Sourcing is an exciting fast paced and dynamic fashion supplier with offices around the globe. We are searching for a Prints/Graphics Assistant Designer (Denim & Swim) to join our team based in Leicester.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support designers, senior designers, and the design manager in developing original print and graphic concepts, embroideries, embellishments, and seasonal themes.
- Create detailed artwork specs and tech packs for factories ensuring accurate colour matching and correct scale print/graphics for the garment.
- Track and manage key dates to ensure adherence to the critical path.
- Liaise with factories and overseas offices to maintain smooth production workflows including reviewing strike offs and feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers.
- Participate in inspiration and sourcing trips.
- Develop trend and colour inspiration from research.
- Manage sample returns and provide general team administrative support.
- Handle incoming post, ensuring it reaches relevant teams and organizing new samples.
- Assist all team members with various tasks as needed.
ABOUT YOU:
- A graduate with a degree in printed textiles or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in basic Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
- Creative and trend-aware, with a strong eye for print, emerging trends, and colour.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team player and able to build relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines.
- To be able to deal with all challenges in a calm and positive manner - a natural problem solver.
- Understanding of print and fabric processes.
