We are looking for an experienced P6 Planner to join a major engineering project based in Bedwas, South Wales. This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting the manufacture and delivery of works for a major UK steelworks project. You will initially support manufacturing activities across workshop operations before providing planning support through the site delivery phases.

- Building and maintaining detailed project schedules in Primavera P6
- Establishing and managing baseline programmes
- Monitoring progress against programme and key milestones
- Critical path analysis
- Progress measurement and forecasting
- Resource and cost monitoring
- Producing project reports, schedules and progress updates
- Identifying programme risks, delays and constraints
- Strong Primavera P6 experience
- Previous planning experience within engineering, construction or major projects
- Experience developing and maintaining detailed project programmes
- Strong understanding of critical path, progress tracking and forecasting
- Experience working directly with project and site teams xiskglj
- Ability to identify delays, risks and programme constraints
- Experience within heavy engineering, steel, fabrication, mechanical engineering, industrial construction, energy or major infrastructure projects
Pay: £40.00-£50.00 per hour
This is an 18–24-month contract, outside IR35, offering approximately 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
