Junior Quality/QA – Solar Farm
Pay: £18 to £20 Per Hour (SUB CONTRACTOR)
Location: Initial Project Shrewsbury - Travel UK Wide (Digs/Food Allowance/Expenses if Travelling)
Job Type: Contract (40 Hours Per Week)
We are looking for a Junior Quality Inspector to join a solar farm construction project.
This role would suit someone with some construction or solar experience who is organised, has good attention to detail and is confident using computers. Previous QA experience is not essential.
Need a CSCS Card to get onsite.
Will need to be happy with working in all types of weather conditions. This role will involve being on site on solar farms full time.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out basic quality checks on site
- Inspect solar panels, mounting systems and general installation work
- Take photographs and record any defects or issues
- Complete simple inspection reports using a computer
- Liaise with site managers to ensure work meets quality standards
- Keep accurate and organised records
Requirements:
- Previous construction or solar site experience preferred
- Good computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, proactive and willing to learn
- Good communication skills
£18 to £20 per hour, depending on experience.
