You'll play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the UK's largest mobile network, helping bring together two organisations to create something truly impactful. In this role, you'll guide how we prioritise investments and realise value - ensuring every decision supports long-term success, strengthens customer experience, and builds a sustainable future.

Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you'll create clarity in complexity, encourage thoughtful decision-making, and foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and shared success.

  • You'll guide the strategic direction of the business portfolio, ensuring investment decisions are aligned to priorities, meaningful outcomes, and long-term value.
  • You'll nurture strong portfolio governance, offering clear, accessible visibility of priorities, risks, dependencies, and opportunities to support confident, well-informed decisions.
  • You'll lead the benefits realisation approach across the capex plan, creating structure and accountability while ensuring investments deliver their intended impact.
  • You'll collaborate closely with teams across Strategy, Capital Planning, and Business Architecture to strengthen ways of working and embed consistent, high-quality governance.
  • You'll build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, thoughtfully guiding discussions, supporting trade-offs, and encouraging alignment across the organisation.

You bring a thoughtful, strategic mindset, with the ability to simplify complexity and connect decisions to meaningful business outcomes. You communicate with clarity and empathy, confidently engaging and influencing senior stakeholders while fostering alignment and trust. You have experience leading complex portfolios, with a structured and considered approach to prioritisation, sequencing, and managing dependencies. You understand investment governance and commercial drivers, with the confidence to challenge constructively and support balanced, high-quality decisions. You're adaptable and resilient, able to navigate change with a calm, focused, and solutions-oriented mindset. You enjoy working collaboratively across teams, building strong relationships and creating an environment of shared accountability and continuous improvement. You lead inclusively, supporting others to succeed, setting clear expectations, and contributing to a positive, high-performing culture.
