Location: London + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality, pragmatic legal advice on UK consumer protection, advertising, marketing and financial promotions laws across a wide range of business initiatives.
  • Support the development of customer propositions, marketing campaigns and brand activity by identifying legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with colleagues across Consumer, Marketing and Brand teams to deliver timely, commercially focused legal guidance aligned to business priorities.
  • Assess legal and regulatory risks, recommending proportionate solutions that support business growth while maintaining compliance.
  • Contribute to robust legal assurance frameworks that help minimise regulatory, financial and reputational risk.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across VodafoneThree, enabling effective collaboration and positive business outcomes.
  • Support the delivery of training, guidance and knowledge-sharing initiatives that increase legal awareness.
  • Help improve legal processes by identifying opportunities for simplification, automation and greater efficiency.
  • Engage with external stakeholders including regulators, industry bodies, agencies, external counsel and strategic partners when required.
  • Stay informed about legislative and regulatory developments, sharing insights and helping the business respond proactively to change.
  • Contribute to a supportive, inclusive team culture where ideas, learning and continuous improvement are valued.

Who You Are

  • A law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Significant experience working as a Paralegal advising on consumer law, advertising, marketing and financial promotions regulation.
  • Ideally, experience within the telecommunications sector or a strong understanding of the regulatory environment in technology, digital or consumer-facing industries.
  • An understanding of UK consumer protection legislation and the ability to apply legal principles to practical business situations.
  • The confidence to manage your own workload and caseload, taking ownership while knowing when to seek guidance and support.
  • Strong legal analysis skills, with the ability to identify key issues, evaluate risk and recommend balanced, pragmatic solutions.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding how legal advice can support business objectives and customer outcomes.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and influence effectively at different levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and tailor messages to different audiences.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and a willingness to embrace new challenges, feedback and development opportunities.
  • An interest in process improvement, including the use of technology, automation and scalable ways of working to enhance legal service delivery.
