What you'll do:
- Lead complex finance transformation projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring objectives are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Partner with Finance teams and wider business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions.
- Act as the bridge between programme teams and Finance functions, ensuring new capabilities are successfully embedded and adopted.
- Define and communicate the impact of change across people, processes, and technology.
- Build, lead, and motivate cross-functional and virtual teams, creating a collaborative and empowered working environment.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks, taking proactive action to keep delivery on track.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and external partners to enable efficient and cost-effective delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying innovative ways to enhance project outcomes and maximise business benefits.
- Support business readiness and change management activities, helping teams successfully transition through transformation initiatives.
- Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership teams.
Who you are:
- Proven experience delivering complex business transformation or change programmes, with at least 5 years of project management experience.
- A recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe frameworks.
- Experience working within, or exposure to, Finance or Accounting environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong change management skills with the ability to drive adoption and realise business benefits.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence presenting complex information to senior and executive-level audiences.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and champion innovation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies in large-scale programmes.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment and adapt to evolving business priorities.
- A collaborative and inclusive leadership style that builds trust, empowers others, and delivers results through teamwork.
