What you'll do
- Own commercial optimisation across the partner portfolio, identifying opportunities to improve margin, reduce cost, and maximise value from £1.2bn of annual spend.
- Develop and maintain the partner selection framework for bids, defining which partner to use based on contractual terms, volume rebates, and commercial commitments.
- Develop a deep understanding of VB UK segment commercial goals, translating these into clear commercial priorities and objectives so every partnership is oriented around what the business needs to deliver.
- Hold partner managers to account against commercial objectives – tracking delivery, challenging performance and ensuring commercial ambition is being executed at a partner level.
- Embed partner selection into the bid qualification process, working with Pre‑Sales and Solution to influence decisions.
Who you are
- Strong commercial experience in a partner, supplier or bid commercial role within B2B.
- Deep understanding of partner commercial constructs.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability.
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience translating business commercial objectives into operational priorities.
