Location: London OR Newbury + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

What you'll do

  • You'll play a meaningful part in shaping the future of the UK's largest mobile network as it comes together. As a Finance Lead within Consumer Operations, you'll partner closely with teams across the business, helping to bring clarity to complex decisions and guiding the organisation through an exciting period of transformation.
  • Your insight and thoughtful approach will help create efficiencies, strengthen decision-making, and ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers and colleagues.
  • You'll take ownership of financial planning for Consumer Operations opex, shaping forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans with care and precision.
  • You'll provide thoughtful month-end analysis, helping leaders understand performance and feel confident in their decisions.
  • You'll build strong, trusting relationships with operational teams, offering supportive challenge and meaningful financial insight.
  • You'll uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs, using data to tell a clear and compelling story.
  • You'll support the development of business cases, staying close to outcomes and sharing learnings to help the business grow.
  • You'll play an important role in bringing teams and processes together, encouraging continuous improvement and smoother ways of working.
  • You'll help maintain strong governance, proactively identifying risks and working collaboratively to resolve them.

Who you are

  • You'll bring a strong understanding of operational finance, ideally within a Consumer Operations or similar environment.
  • You hold (or are working towards) a professional finance qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • You'll have experience building positive, trusting partnerships and influencing outcomes with empathy and confidence.
  • You'll have a keen eye for detail, taking pride in accuracy and delivering high-quality work.
  • You'll enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to a supportive, inclusive team environment.
  • You'll be curious and open to new ideas, with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • You'll feel comfortable working with data, using tools like Excel and PowerPoint to communicate insights clearly.
