Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

What you'll do

  • You'll play a key role in shaping the financial backbone of a business that's redefining connectivity in the UK.
  • As part of the Consumer Opex team, you'll partner closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and collaborate across functions to bring financial clarity, control, and insight to major investment decisions.
  • From tracking spend to influencing governance and improving processes, you'll help ensure every pound invested delivers real value-while contributing to a once-in-a-career transformation.

In this role, you'll:

  • Track and manage opex spend across multiple functions, giving clear visibility on performance and financial position.
  • Take ownership of CAPEX governance, ensuring investments align with strategy and deliver expected returns.
  • Oversee end-to-end financial governance of Consumer Development Fund (CDF) activity, maintaining accurate tracking and compliance.
  • Act as the go-to finance partner for portfolio managers, project teams, and stakeholders-supporting better decision-making.
  • Lead monthly capex reporting, ensuring it is accurate, timely, and aligned with governance standards.
  • Support and review funding requests, providing challenge and guidance to ensure robust financial control.
  • Attend governance forums, capture key decisions, and ensure actions are followed through.
  • Investigate overspends and governance breaches, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with budget holders and operational teams to improve cost understanding and accountability.
  • Support month-end reporting, providing insights and explaining key variances to forecasts.
  • Help prepare for financial reviews, bringing together a clear view of overall Consumer opex performance.
  • Enhance and automate reporting tools, dashboards, and models to streamline analysis.
  • Contribute to the integration of processes and reporting into a unified VodafoneThree view of opex.
