Location: Field + Scotland. This role requires you to be in a commutable distance in and around Scotland.

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits.

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday + On‑call / 1 in 4 rota.

Role Overview: As a Project Engineer in the Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, you will deliver cutting‑edge telecoms projects across Scotland, primarily for the Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) account. Your responsibilities include installation, commissioning and ongoing network support, collaborating with field engineers, senior project engineers and project managers, representing Vodafone in customer meetings, managing critical network issues, and producing high‑quality documentation. This role involves regular travel across Scotland and overnight stays, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting a network and systems
  • Experience working with IP, MPLS, SDH, PDH technologies
  • Knowledge of Nokia S AR‑H and Nokia N MF‑P
  • Excellent knowledge of routing, switching and data networking
  • Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and communicate at a high level
  • Full clean UK driving licence
