What You’ll Do: This is more than a Programme Manager role—you will play a pivotal part in shaping one of the UK’s most ambitious transformations. You will lead the delivery of enterprise-wide, business-critical programmes that will redefine customer experience, connectivity, and value at scale. Working across a complex, fast-paced environment, you’ll bring clarity, structure, and momentum to initiatives that truly matter—helping build not just a network, but a lasting legacy. You will lead end-to-end delivery of major strategic programmes, ensuring outcomes, scope, and timelines align with business goals. You will mobilise programmes from the ground up, including defining requirements, planning resources, and forecasting budgets. You will establish and manage robust governance frameworks, enabling clear decision-making, visibility, and accountability. You will drive cross-functional execution across design, build, testing, launch, and change management activities. You will proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring transparent escalation and resolution. You will build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders, creating alignment and enabling effective decision-making. You will deliver clear, timely, and actionable programme reporting, enhancing visibility across leadership and governance forums. You will lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance. You will continuously improve delivery standards by identifying challenges, capturing lessons learned, and driving maturity.

Who You Are: You will bring proven experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide programmes within complex, matrix organisations. You will have delivered transformation programmes across multiple functions and delivery partners. You will be confident operating within formal and informal governance frameworks and engaging senior leadership and SteerCo stakeholders. You will hold a degree or equivalent experience, with recognised programme or project management certifications (e.g., MSP, Prince2, PMI, APMP). You will have experience within telecommunications or a comparable corporate environment. You will demonstrate strong programme governance, financial management, and risk management expertise. You will excel in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and lead without direct authority. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidently presenting complex information in a clear, concise way. You will thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, maintaining focus, structure, and delivery discipline. You will bring strong leadership presence, sound judgement, and the emotional intelligence to navigate complexity with resilience and adaptability.
