Location: Newbury + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What You’ll Do: You’ll step into a pivotal enterprise-wide role where you’ll shape how major investments deliver value. As Lead Portfolio Manager – Enterprise Portfolio Execution, you’ll help keep VF3’s £1.4bn enterprise investment portfolio healthy, prioritised and tightly aligned to our strategy, financial commitments and delivery standards. Working at the heart of decision-making, you’ll bring clarity, challenge and confidence to how we invest and deliver at scale.

  • Own and steward the consolidated, prioritised in‑flight enterprise investment portfolio across all capital categories
  • Shape, embed and continuously improve enterprise governance, reporting and portfolio data to enable confident, high‑quality decision‑making
  • Partner closely with Finance, EPM and delivery teams to track performance against financial targets, strategic priorities and compliance requirements
  • Monitor portfolio health, interdependencies and risks, stepping in early and confidently escalating to executive level when needed to protect outcomes
  • Facilitate executive‑level conversations and decisions on portfolio change, trade‑offs and investment health
  • Maintain a strong interlock between enterprise strategy, business planning, risk and delivery
  • Apply and champion the Enterprise Delivery Framework across the portfolio
  • Lead the shift towards a value‑led, data‑driven investment culture, ensuring decisions are grounded in robust analysis and clear benefits forecasts

Who You Are: Proven experience managing enterprise‑wide investment portfolios within large, complex organisations (e.g. FTSE‑100 or similar scale). Deep expertise in capital investment governance, enterprise risk and delivery. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to balance growth, risk, regulatory obligations and capital constraints. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior (L1/L2) decision‑makers. An adaptable, inclusive leadership style that builds trust and drives results across functions, geographies and cultures. A track record of improving investment outcomes through clear governance, insight and intervention. Passion for data‑led decision‑making and enterprise‑wide cultural alignment around value delivery.
