Location: Newbury + Hybrid

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

Job Description

What you’ll do

This role is accountable for the Financial and Management accounting VodafoneThree’s Towerco arrangements with Cellnex, overseeing £0.3bn annual spend. It ensures all financial accounting, management accounting and financial transactions with Cellnex are undertaken accurately and in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading on annual and interim audits from a Towerco perspective
  • Financial accounting in respect of all Towerco contracts for the purposes of local and group accounts
  • Accountable for monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting, including providing variance analysis, creating journals, and answering queries from the FP&A finance team
  • Gain a deep understanding of the respective contractual agreements
  • Supporting commercial discussions between 3UK and Cellnex
  • Ownership of the quarterly forecasting and annual budget process for Towerco ensuring delivery to a high standard of timeliness and accuracy
  • Leading on and agreeing quarterly invoicing with Cellnex and managing receivables, payables, recharges and cashflow impacts in liaison with treasury

Qualifications

Who are you

  • Qualified accountant with at least 5 Years PQE (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Financial accounting experience is a must and ideally, previous roles to additionally include Management Accounting and Business Partnering experience
  • Experience with tools like Oracle, SmartView are advantageous
  • Strong communications skills to deal with individuals / teams within and external to the organisation
  • Experience of dealing with significant 3rd party partner's would be helpful
