The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 £ per year.

Location: Newbury + Hybrid

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

Hybrid Work: Work both in office and at home; office 2-3 days per week. Work with line manager to understand expectations.

The Data Architect and Interface Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic oversight for OSS Data and Interface delivery between Vodafone Three and business partners, managing a complex landscape of internal teams, system integrators and third-party vendors.

  • Act as primary technical lead for system integrators and vendors, ensuring data exchange designs align with OSS domain architecture and business goals.
  • Translate complex network requirements into comprehensive OSS domain designs for data integration and interface functionality.
  • Produce and govern end-to-end technical library: HLD, LLD, test plans, and transfer to operations documentation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to guide solutions through the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring they meet operational acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure interface deliveries and data integrations strictly conform to contractual outcomes, technical KPIs and project milestones.
  • Advise programme managers on technical risk assessment, issue mitigation and budgeting for OSS interface enhancements.
  • Drive evolution of integration processes to improve service assurance and overall reliability of production deliveries.
  • Create data standards and governance policies across shared tools and interfaces.
  • Act as bridge between internal stakeholders and external delivery partners for timely, high-quality production deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support delivery of network engineering initiatives and related applications.
  • Support RFP activities for new solutions in respective domains.
  • Manage senior stakeholders and internal/external communications.

Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of OSS solutions covering Service Management, Service Assurance, Inventory and Customer Experience Management.
  • Strong understanding of mobile network architecture and relevant processes in network design, deployment and operations.
  • Expertise in data interfaces protocols, data mastery and standards: SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, TM Forum Open APIs, MDM, semantic data modelling.
  • Experience creating data standards and governance policies to maintain a single source of truth.
  • TOGAF 9.1 certification.
  • Practical experience with TM Forum frameworks: TAM, eTOM and SID.
  • Strong technical leadership and decision-making ability; setting technical direction and quality standards for delivery.
  • Excellent communication to liaise between business, technical communities and third-party delivery teams.
