What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end assurance of commercial charging outcomes, ensuring pricing strategies are accurately reflected in billing and revenue systems.
- Lead Revenue Assurance across the full usage-to-bill lifecycle, identifying gaps in data flows, rating logic, and billing outputs.
- Oversee Margin Assurance activities, proactively protecting profitability by identifying margin leakage and inefficiencies.
- Lead cost verification processes across wholesale and third-party suppliers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and value realisation.
- Validate pricing structures, offers, discounts, and promotions to ensure alignment between commercial intent and execution.
- Govern and assure commercial configuration, rating rules, and product setup within billing and charging platforms.
- Ensure platform integrity and data accuracy across systems that impact customer billing and revenue recognition.
- Proactively identify, quantify, and remediate commercial leakage, including revenue loss and margin erosion risks.
- Provide high‑quality, senior‑level insight into financial exposure, commercial risks, and assurance performance.
- Partner closely with Product, Commercial, and Pricing teams to embed 'assurance by design' into new propositions and changes.
Who You Are
- Experienced in Revenue Assurance, Commercial Assurance, or related financial control environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of pricing models, margin drivers, and financial risk.
- Proven leader with experience managing complex assurance portfolios and driving measurable outcomes.
- Highly analytical with the ability to assess large data sets and translate insights into actions.
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and challenging effectively where risks are identified.
- Experienced in fast‑paced, commercially driven organisations with high accountability for financial performance.
- Skilled at quantifying financial impact and prioritising issues based on business risk and value.
- Results‑driven with a strong track record of protecting revenue and improving margin performance.
