Location: Newbury + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Employees are expected to come into the office 2‑3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month, and work closely with their line manager to understand team expectations.

What You’ll Do

The Lead Enterprise Tooling Change Manager will design and deliver engagement, communication and training plans to roll out Enterprise PPM tooling and reporting across the organisation supporting a £1.5bn capital plan. The role leads the strategic adoption, evolution and optimisation of enterprise tooling capabilities that underpin delivery performance insights and decision‑making, ensuring tools are implemented, embedded and consistently utilised.

  • Change Strategy & Planning
    • Develop a detailed change management strategy and lead continuous improvement across tooling reporting and the delivery hub.
    • Conduct impact assessments across user groups (EPT, Delivery, Portfolio, SLT).
    • Build strong relationships with end users (e.g. project managers) to understand real‑world challenges.
    • Act as a trusted advisor and challenge when needed to ensure realistic adoption.
  • Adoption & Behaviour Change
    • Translate tooling changes into clear ‘what this means for you’ guidance.
    • Identify, track and address barriers to adoption.
    • Support the design of ways of working, not just system usage.
  • Communications & Enablement
    • Develop clear, user‑focused communications, avoiding jargon.
    • Design and deliver practical training and support materials (guides, walkthroughs, quick references).
    • Embed support (help hubs, champions, ongoing guidance).
  • Insights & Continuous Improvement
    • Define and track adoption metrics (usage, compliance, data quality).
    • Gather user feedback and translate into actionable improvements.
    • Work with delivery teams to iterate tooling and processes based on real usage.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in Organisational Change Management within enterprise environments – Essential.
  • Experience supporting technology or tooling implementations (PMO/PPM tools, ERP, workflow systems).
  • Experience rolling out Planner Premium across organisations – Desirable.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery environments and PMO structures.
  • Extensive change management experience delivering complex solutions across an Enterprise – Essential.
  • Demonstrated depth of experience shaping and managing change through to completion – Essential.
  • Knowledge of PPM tooling and reporting capabilities – Essential.
  • Strong influencing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and drive to improve and uphold organisational standards.
  • Experience working close to delivery and familiarity with PMO practices, quality assurance and governance.
  • Ability to train, mentor and coach individuals on continuous improvement and process management.
