Who We Are

At VodafoneThree, we're building a network the UK can count on, connecting people, places and potential. By bringing together the strengths of Vodafone and Three, we're creating the UK's largest mobile network and helping close the digital divide, empower communities and drive meaningful progress.

We believe everyone should feel they belong. Whoever you are and whatever your story, you'll find a workplace where different perspectives are welcomed, voices are heard and people are supported to thrive.

Why VodafoneThree

This is a career-defining opportunity to join VodafoneThree during one of the most significant network transformations in the UK. Together, we're building more than a network; we're creating a culture, a legacy and a future that will shape the industry for years to come.

What You'll Do

This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of planning, acquisition and community affairs specialists at the forefront of VodafoneThree's network deployment programme.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping site delivery strategies, building strong stakeholder partnerships and helping us deliver our ambition of becoming the UK's number one network.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of planning, acquisition and community affairs specialists.
  • Defining and delivering acquisition and planning strategies that support network rollout.
  • Building effective relationships with local authorities, statutory bodies, landlords, industry partners and community stakeholders.
  • Working closely with Legal, Public Affairs, Towers & Estates and other key internal teams.
  • Providing leadership across property, planning and local affairs activities.
  • Overseeing suppliers and delivery partners to ensure strong governance and successful programme execution.
  • Collaborating with Cornerstone, MBNL and strategic partners to drive best practice and delivery efficiency.
  • Supporting regional teams with complex issues, risks and escalations.

Who You Are

We recognise that there are many different routes to developing the skills needed for this role. We're interested in the leadership capability, stakeholder management expertise and delivery experience you can bring, not simply the sector you've worked in previously.

We're particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience within planning, property, infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, construction, engineering, transport, real estate or other regulated sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working within governance, programme delivery, acquisition, planning or related disciplines.
  • The ability to navigate complex environments and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and experience supporting contracts, agreements or partnerships.
  • Knowledge of property legislation, planning frameworks or regulatory environments (desirable).
  • Experience working with local authorities, government stakeholders or industry bodies (beneficial).
  • Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, site acquisition, planning, network deployment or the Electronic Communications Code (ECC) would be advantageous but is not essential.

Worried that you don't meet all the criteria exactly?

We know that everyone is unique, with different experiences and perspectives. If you're excited about this opportunity but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every requirement, we'd still encourage you to apply. You may be exactly who we're looking for, whether for this role or another opportunity within VodafoneThree.

What We Offer

We care about our people's success by offering competitive pay, bonus opportunities, flexible benefits, up to 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays, learning and development opportunities, excellent parental leave policies and much more.
