VodafoneThree is hiring a Legal Counsel to join its dynamic legal team within the Corporate function. The role involves providing trusted legal guidance across a fast-evolving technology and telecoms landscape, supporting strategic growth, and shaping complex commercial deals. The position is based in Newbury, England, with a hybrid working model.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified lawyer with experience in-house or in private practice.
- Experience within the telecommunications or technology sector is desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance legal risk against business objectives.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a pragmatic approach.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Support the negotiation and delivery of contracts, bids, and tenders across diverse Vodafone Business sales segments.
- Provide pragmatic, solution-focused legal advice on commercial, operational, and compliance matters.
- Assess legal and regulatory risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to governance activities, legal training, and guidance for colleagues.
- Drive continuous improvement by supporting automation and scalable legal processes.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, external counsel, and strategic partners.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
- Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits.
- Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days in office per week, minimum 8 days per month).
