Overview

Marketing communications specialist focused on delivering insight-led campaigns to existing customers, driving brand love, retention, cross-sell and upsell. Works with Trading, GTM, vendor partners and the wider Marketing team to translate strategy into high-impact customer storytelling across channels (email, SMS and app).

Location and hours: Newbury (Hybrid), Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri. Hybrid arrangement of 2-3 days in the office per week, with flexibility to coordinate with your line manager.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally across Consumer to translate commercial and loyalty strategy into clear, brand-led storytelling.
  • Leverage insight, customer data and best practice to shape communications that are genuinely customer-first, resonating both emotionally and practically.
  • Craft clear, inspiring design briefs for the In-House Agency to ensure outputs are effective, on-brand and insight-led.
  • Write persuasive short and long-form copy that brings propositions to life, balancing brand tone, clarity and creativity to drive action.
  • Collaborate with the Insights team to track performance, apply learnings and optimise future campaigns.
  • Own timelines, approvals and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.
  • Liaise with Legal, Brand, Proposition and vendor teams to ensure compliance and consistency across all outputs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer communications within B2C marketing environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence and credibility to influence.
  • Calm and solution-focused under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Resilient and pragmatic, with the agility to adapt to changing priorities and pivot at pace.
  • Excellent copywriting and briefing skills, with the ability to translate complex propositions into engaging customer content, whilst being highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A strong communicator with a collaborative, proactive and can-do attitude.
