What You'll Do: Join us at a transformational moment as we bring together two leading organisations to create the UK's largest mobile network provider. As the principal Finance Business Partner for the VF3 Retail Sales channel, you'll help shape the future of our retail business by combining commercial insight, strategic thinking, and collaborative partnership. Working alongside senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you'll use data-driven analysis and thoughtful challenge to support key decisions, improve performance, and contribute to an inclusive culture where people, customers, and business outcomes can thrive.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, risks and opportunities management, and financial planning activities for the VF3 Retail Sales channel
- Partner closely with retail operations and finance teams to understand performance drivers and provide clear, balanced financial insights
- Deliver meaningful analysis and reporting that supports informed decision-making and long-term strategic goals
- Monitor, track, and communicate key performance indicators, helping the business focus on priorities and opportunities
- Identify efficiencies and value-creation opportunities through proactive analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support commercial activities including store profitability reviews, incentive programmes, commission structures, target setting, rate reviews, and business case development
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, providing supportive challenge and helping teams achieve the best possible outcomes
- Champion strong financial governance and controls, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and responsibly
- Help evolve reporting, processes, and data quality to support strategic transformation programmes, including retail integration and cross-brand initiatives
- Collaborate across Retail, Finance, FP&A, Data & Analytics, Commissions, and other teams to deliver shared objectives and drive sustainable success
- Contribute to a culture of learning, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement during a period of significant organisational change
Who You Are: ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or hold an equivalent professional finance qualification. A commercially minded finance professional who can balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. Someone who enjoys building strong relationships and working collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups. An effective communicator who can translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the curiosity to explore trends, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work. Confident partnering and influencing skills, with the ability to provide both support and constructive challenge.
