Role Purpose
Help us ‘Create the Future’ as we build our first global Developer Marketplace for Vodafone’s APIs and digital products. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join an empowered team which operates as an agile start-up, while benefiting from the scale and recognition of a global brand. We are looking for a disruptor who is ready to change the way our business operates and who will help shape the set-up of our new Developer Marketplace channel.
We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our team and manage the Developer Marketplace Portal. https://developer.vodafone.com.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with building and administering web portals and understand UX and visual design concepts. The remit is to manage and create a world class, innovative and engaging digital destination with accountability for building traffic and awareness and driving integration with Vodafone’s digital estate.
What you’ll do
• Manage and create the API product and technical content on the Developer Marketplace portal.
• Manage the ongoing UX design that will enhance the journeys on the portal to provide a best-in-class user experience that integrates seamlessly with the direct and indirect API sales/distribution channels.
• Ensure a robust approach around the tracking and the delivery of digital platform metrics to inform UX and UI journey optimisation and performance.
• Work in close collaboration with product, technology, developer relations and commercial teams.
• Drive traffic and awareness of the site and integration into Vodafone’s digital estate globally.
• Manage administrative processes on the site including Company Validation and future control functions such as Credit Checking, KYC and AML.
• Manage the extension of Developer Marketplace to include products for Vodafone partner markets/joint ventures and complementary 3rd party partner APIs.
Who you are
• Entrepreneurial mindset and inspiring digital product manager. 3+ years of design input and development of eCommerce/eService websites, ideally for a technical subject.
• Experience in managing the design process through UX and visual design with successful transition to development of a live website or app.
• Design background (using Figma) and/or API technical competency is a plus.
• Clear written documentation skills with the ability to create and manage intuitive technical content.
• Proven experience working in customer centric, lean and agile development team.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely and develop relationships with other teams, including product, technology, sales and marketing.
• Ability to work in an evolving landscape that includes rapid product developer and can adapt to changing priorities as the market opportunities emerge.
• Passionate about the customer experience, open to new ideas and new ways of doing things; comfortable challenging the status quo; thrives in a rapidly evolving environment.
What\’s in it for you
• Yearly bonus: 10%
• Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year

• Maternity leave: 52 weeks, the first 13 weeks are fully paid, followed by 26 weeks of half pay
