Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

What You’ll Do

The PMO Managers’ role is to enhance project & programme deliveries within VBSE UK through the application and development of the delivery process, project/programme controls and governance, project consultation, system automation and the monitoring of PMO established KPIs. The PMO Manager will be an experienced leader have a high level of competence in all facets of PMO, including:

  • Methodology and Governance: Ensure the effective running of the Delivery Methodology and Governance regime for delivery projects/programmes within a function, business area or portfolio
  • Planning & Resource Management: Works closely with Practice stakeholders to ensure adequate resource coverage within the Programme/Portfolio or function to support the Delivery Plan
  • Leadership & Stakeholders: Establishes close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, able to effectively influence at a senior level
  • Risk Management: Ensure the effective running of the Risk Management process for delivery projects/programmes within a function, business area or portfolio
  • Change Management: Ensure the effective running of the Change Management process for delivery projects/programmes within a function, business area or portfolio

Who You Are

  • Experience in a similar role within the Telco or IT industry desirable
  • Highly organised with an acute attention to detail
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment, in an influential position.
  • Ability to deputise for Programme/Portfolio Manager when required and build strong relationships with the wider PMO team
  • Established a governance structure for a large Programme/Portfolio and developed or enhanced Methodology.
  • Enhancing PMO policy and procedures
  • A problem solver, ability to identify root causes and make decisions and implement
  • A recognised qualification or certification in PMO / Assurance (P3O, ISEB)
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering complex projects and programmes to meet business expectations and deliver results
  • Candidates must hold or be eligible for DV Clearance
