Location: Speechmark (Twice per week onsite) + Hybrid

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

The Fixed Segment team oversees our broadband operations: the fastest expanding consumer broadband service in the UK. Within the commercial and trading team, we establish our pricing strategy, crafting offers and promotions to shake up the market and meet our revenue, margin, and net additions goals. We create the business cases for all new broadband products, determine our annual budgets, and design and implement our trading strategies.

Role purpose – This position is for a Trading Specialist within our Commercial & Trading team – you will assist with our weekly trading performance, pricing, and quarterly planning processes for both Fixed Broadband and Fixed Wireless Access. You will collaborate closely and manage the relationship with our channel teams and Base Marketing to achieve our volume and value objectives.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

• Planning: Execute the commercial layout. Conduct quarterly and monthly planning meetings with stakeholders to agree on a unified plan.
• Trading: Assists in facilitating the trading narrative and call modifications, monitors daily performance, collaborates with key stakeholders, and creates essential trading packs for the Tuesday and Friday trading sessions.
• Pricing Changes: Acts as the primary contact for CMT and the broader HBB business to propose and present pricing adjustment strategies.
• Base Performance: Collaborate closely with retention and Xsell teams to achieve targets and lead optimisation initiatives.

Who you are

• Trading Presentation skills to Senior Management level
• Coordinating individuals from various business functions to achieve results
• Knowledge of the UK Fixed market
• Commercial assessment of new trading opportunities
