Location: Farnborough (Hybrid)

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you’ll do

  • The Pre-Sales Solution Consultant engages with customers to understand their business goals and propose solutions from the Vodafone portfolio, managing opportunities worth up to £100M TCV.
  • This role involves collaboration with both private and public sector clients and requires knowledge of procurement frameworks.

Key Deliverables:

  • High-quality, commercially viable solutions approved by clients and internal stakeholders
  • Documentation: Solutions must be documented to established standards, with initial documentation detailing the proposed solution
  • Client Requirements: Ensuring Vodafone has a full and clear understanding of the client's requirements and articulating them for timely delivery
  • Technology Selection: Accountable for selecting appropriate technology components during the bid stage
  • Consulting: Developing, understanding, and codifying requirements; creating solution designs; representing VBSE Pre-Sales in engagements
  • Sales Support: Providing technical support to commercial discussions, including bid qualification and cost validation
  • Design: Translating customer requirements into Vodafone language and producing design documentation; consulting with Product Management
  • Technical Relationship: Managing technical relationships with third parties and partners; engaging the Delivery team for customer project sign-off

Who you are

  • Must have considerable experience WAN/LAN
  • Knowledge of basic level business functions (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Strategy etc).
  • Understanding of the requirements capture process and expected outputs.
  • Constructing business cases and business case benefits realisation.
  • Good Teams, Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint/presenting knowledge.
  • Knowledge or experience of the ITIL framework.
  • Eligible and willing to attain and hold DV level security clearance.
