What you’ll do
We’re recruiting for a Finance Optimisation Business Partner to join our UK Finance team here at Vodafone.
As a Finance Optimisation Business Partner, you will work closely with the Senior Commercial Finance Manager for Bid Finance & Profitability to drive process efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence across the Finance function. This role serves as a strategic partner to various business units, ensuring that lean principles are effectively applied to our processes.
Wider responsibilities will also include:
- Process Improvement & Lean Implementation: Analyse current finance processes and identify areas for improvement using lean methodologies (e.g., value stream mapping, Kaizen), with a view to then design, implement, and monitor lean process changes.
- Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a finance partner to business units, providing financial analysis and insight to support decision-making.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct root cause analysis of financial performance issues and provide recommendations for improvement, whilst developing metrics and KPIs to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Change Management & Training: Lead change management initiatives/workshops/training sessions related to process transformations within the finance function and serve as a mentor to team members on lean concepts and techniques.
Who you are
- Deep understanding of lean and project management methodologies, process mapping, and value stream analysis.
- Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Certified in Lean Six Sigma preferred.
- Proven track record of implementing successful process improvements in a Finance environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
