The Product Performance Manager is responsible for defining, tracking and driving performance metrics and related improvements, collaborating with Product and Design, Engineering and Commercial teams in defining and reaching our targets. They will partner with Engineering to improve how analytics are captured and visualized using the latest technology and tools, ensuring data quality. They won’t just be "reporting numbers", they will be the architects of our performance ecosystem. From monitoring device connectivity to analysing mobile user retention funnels, they will provide the insights that drive our product roadmap. They will turn raw data into actionable product and business insights and lead communications across the team and wider company. They will be the "first responder" for data discrepancies, leading the triage to identify whether an issue stems from a bug, a tracking tag error, or a pipeline failure.
Main role responsibilities- Define metrics at a product level/ for new features together with Product and Engineering, based on expected business outcomes. Areas to cover include software (app/web engagement, conversion funnels, advanced behaviours, etc), features and services (feature funnels, usage patterns, retention), hardware and connectivity.
- Create automated reports & dashboards to track product performance KPIs, using the latest technology and tools with Technology team.
- Prioritise and manage work of data engineers to drive product analytics priorities.
- Collaborate with Engineering to implement data quality processes - automated validation checks, monitoring systems - to ensure the accuracy of the data flowing into your reports.
- Implement required data streams to be able to extract necessary insights to improve and maximise product performance.
- Lead communication of insights across the company: translate complex data sets into insightful narratives for Product teams and executive leadership.
- Wide experience on digital analytics management understanding and setting up Data Layers, Analytics tools, and conversion funnels.
- Digital product and/or Business orientation: familiarity with analytics frameworks for digital products or hardware.
- Structured and analytical thinker able to analyse data streams and draw actionable insights linked to expected business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with people from multiple countries.
- Ability to collaborate with other departments to develop, improve and implement process, policies and procedures to drive synergies and business efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: ability to articulate business requirements into a clear data/KPI roadmap for the engineering team. Ability to summarise complex engineering/data concepts to a business audience.
