Role Overview

The VP of Sales (UK & Europe) will lead VoCoVo's commercial growth across our core markets overseeing New Business Sales, Account Management, and Channel Sales. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, they will set the strategic direction for revenue generation and ensure best-in-class commercial performance across the UK and Europe. With teams in both the UK and Germany, this role requires a leader who can unite regional sales strategies, build strong cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, and ensure a consistent approach to attracting, retaining, and growing customers. This is a high-impact role suited to a proven customer-centric sales leader with experience selling technology or communication solutions into the retail sector and developing high-performing teams in multi-region environments. The role will average two days per week across either/both offices in Shipton-under-Wychwood and Cheltenham with occasional travel to Germany and within the UK for team and customer meetings.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience leading and scaling multi-region sales teams across the UK and Europe.
  • Strong background selling technology, SaaS, or communication solutions into the retail sector with a deep understanding of retail operations and buying cycles.
  • Track record of consistent revenue growth, accurate forecasting, and strong commercial performance.
  • Experience managing multiple go-to-market models including direct sales, channel/partner sales, and account management.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills with experience influencing at executive level and supporting senior direct reports.
  • Strategic, collaborative, and commercially minded with a hands-on approach when needed.
  • Data-driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced scaling environment.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer value and building long-term partnerships embodying VoCoVo's values.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.

Nice to have

  • Experience in sales transformation, CRM optimisation, scale-up environments, fluency in German or other European languages, or familiarity with VoCoVo's product ecosystem.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and develop the Sales organisation across New Business, Account Management, and Channel/Partner Sales.
  • Own regional revenue performance driving sustainable growth across UK and European markets.
  • Define and execute regional sales strategies for customer acquisition, expansion, and retention.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior retail leaders and strategic partners.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture with measurable customer value.
  • Drive coaching, performance management, and professional development across sales teams.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success for a unified customer experience.
  • Oversee accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting.
  • Identify new market opportunities including partnerships and diversification within our Corporate strategy.
  • Represent VoCoVo at industry events, conferences, and retail forums.

Salary

Salary range: - plus commission.
