Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing supplier invoices and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our purchase ledger. About the Role
You'll be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts and supporting payment processes, ensuring financial information is accurate, up to date and compliant with company procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately through our accounting system (Procure Wizard).
- Reconciling supplier accounts against statements and resolving any discrepancies.
- Preparing monthly supplier payment schedules for submission to Head Office.
- Reviewing travel agent commission invoices.
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and financial documentation.
- Logging purchases and invoices within our Profit Model system.
- Resolving invoice and credit note queries professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
About You
You're organised, methodical and enjoy working with numbers. You have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate work while building positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers. We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in an accounts, finance or purchase ledger environment (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Confident communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with suppliers.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new finance systems.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to develop within a finance career.
