The role of the Food & Beverage Manager focuses on creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. Through positive leadership of the F&B team, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient, effective and profitable service that meets revenue and cost targets. The role reports directly to the General Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in voco Leicester (LE2 7QS).
Food & Beverage Manager duties include:
- Overseeing the food and beverage department, ensuring a consistently outstanding level of service is delivered to all guests and diners.
- Promoting a culture that anticipates customer needs wherever possible, and reacting to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Establishing and achieving quality and guest satisfaction goals.
- Keeping your knowledge up to date, enabling you to make recommendations to guests.
- Monitoring budgets and controlling expenses and labour costs.
- Proactively engaging in marketing your hotel's restaurant, both in house and externally.
- Driving promotions that deliver outstanding dining experiences for guests.

An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following attributes:
- Demonstrable success in a Food and Beverage Supervisory/Management position.
- A passion for the Food and Beverage industry and keeping up to date with trends.
- A strong leadership capability, capable of motivating and influencing others to work to defined procedures and standards.
- Numerate, computer literate and able to manage resources within agreed budgets.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
