Vocean specialise in upgrading ROVs (underwater robots), working with clients across the globe.
Role Description: You’ll be working in a small, multidisciplinary team to improve and maintain a handful of codebases. The primary function of the app is to control ROVs and provide diagnostic information for the pilots. You’ll be modifying the app for use on different ROVs, trenchers and ploughs, while working closely with hardware. This role will focus on implementing unit tests into the application, with scope for moving into other areas of development. There may be occasional site visits, within the UK and abroad, to commission systems. You’ll be open to travelling and working alongside the clients.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Understanding of C#, WinForms.
- Experience with unit testing and other automated testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
