Lead. Shape. Deliver. Drive meaningful change from the inside out. Are you the kind of leader who turns complexity into clarity? Our client is a values-driven social enterprise delivering high-quality care across residential and homecare settings. Their mission is simple: to support people to live the life they choose. They are looking for an exceptional Senior IT Business Analysis Manager to help them get there. This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain the status quo. This is a role for someone who wants to set the standard.

You will lead a talented team of Business Analysts working at the heart of their IT and business change agenda. You will define what great BA practice looks like in their organisation, champion it relentlessly, and inspire your team to do the same. If you thrive in fast-paced, purposeful environments where your work genuinely makes a difference to people's lives, read on.

What you will do:

  • Defining and championing BA standards across templates, methods, and artefacts, from requirements through to acceptance criteria and traceability.
  • Leading your team through the full requirements lifecycle, discovery to sign-off, ensuring every deliverable traces back to genuine business outcomes.
  • Working seamlessly across delivery approaches including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, waterfall and hybrid, shaping BA outputs to fit each context.
  • Acting as the trusted bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, facilitating decisions with clarity, structure, and confidence.
  • Protecting project scope, managing change requests intelligently, and keeping priorities aligned to strategic value.
  • Building a knowledge base of reusable processes, capabilities, and lessons learned that raises the bar for the whole organisation.
  • Engaging directly with third-party providers, ensuring they understand and deliver against clearly articulated requirements.
  • Producing compelling communications: problem statements, business cases, options papers, and requirements packs that land with impact.

Who we are looking for:

  • You are a seasoned BA professional.
  • You combine analytical rigour with human intelligence, knowing that the best solutions come from deeply understanding people, not just processes.
  • Proven experience leading Business Analysts in a structured, governed change environment.
  • A strong track record delivering programmes of change across multiple concurrent projects and systems.
  • Excellent people leadership: you set clear expectations, coach your team, give honest feedback, and build an environment where people can thrive.
  • Strong capability across the full BA toolkit, from workshops and process modelling to user stories and data analysis.
  • The ability to communicate with authority at all levels, written, verbal, and in the room.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and scope, knowing when to challenge requirements and when to move forward decisively.
  • Experience with matrix team management in project-driven, fast-paced environments.
  • Professional qualifications such as BCS Business Analysis Foundation, BCS Business Analysis Diploma, or PMI-PBA are desirable but not essential. What matters most is your demonstrable impact.

This role requires a Standard DBS check. Our client is an equal opportunities employer and actively welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds.
