Senior Customer Success Manager

Location: UK / Remote

Salary: £70,000 base with £125,000+ OTE

The Opportunity

Our client, a well‑established provider of IoT connectivity solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Customer Success Manager to join their growing team. This is a senior, commercially focused role with responsibility for managing a large and diverse customer portfolio while building and leading a high‑performing customer success function.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping customer engagement strategy, driving account growth, and influencing the future direction of the customer success organisation.

The Role

As Senior Customer Success Manager, you will oversee relationships with multiple customers, ensuring strong engagement, long‑term retention, and commercial growth. You will also be responsible for developing and mentoring a customer success team over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management – Manage and develop long‑term relationships with a broad customer base, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and value delivery.
  • Commercial Growth – Identify and execute upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, driving revenue growth and customer lifetime value.
  • Team Leadership – Build, mentor, and lead a customer success team, setting best practices and performance standards.
  • Customer Engagement – Implement proactive engagement strategies to anticipate customer needs and mitigate potential risks.
  • Product Knowledge – Develop a strong understanding of the client\’s IoT connectivity solutions to provide informed guidance and recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Management – Act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Customer Insight – Capture and analyse customer feedback to support continuous improvement across products and services.

About You

  • Experience – Minimum of 5 years\’ experience in a customer success or commercial role, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity, ideally within technology, telecommunications, or IoT.
  • Commercial Mindset – Proven ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and consistently deliver against revenue targets.
  • Leadership Capability – Demonstrated experience building and leading high‑performing teams.
  • Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Customer‑Focused Approach – A genuine commitment to understanding customer challenges and supporting their business objectives.
