About Us
We are a passionate, purpose-driven organisation dedicated to upskilling and empowering professionals who work with vulnerable children and adults in care. Our mission is to provide care professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to deliver outstanding support—ultimately transforming lives.
By joining our team, your work will have a meaningful impact—not only within our organisation, but also on the lives of those who rely on compassionate, skilled care.
The Role
We are seeking a creative, confident, and forward-thinking YouTube Content Creator Lead to own and drive our video strategy end-to-end. You’ll lead everything from content planning and on-camera presenting to production, optimisation, and analytics, shaping the future of our channel and fuelling growth across all platforms.
This is a hybrid creative + strategic role. You’ll present on camera (British accent required), direct scripting, guide editing, and ensure videos are optimised with strong titles, thumbnails, and metadata. You’ll also harness AI tools to accelerate workflows, generate ideas, analyse audience behaviour, and continuously improve content quality.
Your leadership will strengthen our position as the UK’s most trusted training provider and turn our channel into a major driver of engagement, leads, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the YouTube content strategy and create a content calendar aligned with campaigns and business priorities.
- Present confidently on camera with clear communication and authority (British accent required).
- Develop and refine scripts, working closely with writers and subject-matter experts.
- Oversee video editing workflows, ensuring all content is engaging, professional, and on-brand.
- Optimise every video for search and performance — including titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and end screens.
- Use AI tools for idea generation, editing support, captioning, analytics, and workflow automation.
- Monitor and analyse YouTube analytics to improve audience retention and drive subscriber growth.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to repurpose long-form content into shorts, reels, and carousels for wider distribution.
- Maintain a consistent publishing schedule, balancing quality, frequency, and engagement goals.
What We’re Looking For

- Strong on-camera presence with clear communication and a British accent.
- Deep knowledge of YouTube SEO, analytics, and optimisation strategies.
- Experience directing and overseeing video production from concept to publishing.
- Skilled at crafting hooks, titles, and thumbnails that drive clicks, watch time, and retention.
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance ideation, editing, captions, and performance analysis.
- Ability to adapt quickly to YouTube algorithm changes and evolving viewer behaviour.
- Up-to-date with video trends, content formats, and audience preferences.
- Strong data-driven mindset, focused on metrics like retention, CTR, and subscriber growth.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across content, marketing, and design teams.
- Thumbnail design expertise, including A/B testing to improve click-through rates.
- Videography and editing skills (camera setup, lighting, sound).
- Experience producing both long-form educational and short-form social content.
