Primary School Teaching Assistant – Wembley Area (Term-Time Only)\\n\\nKS1 General TA position\\n\\nVocational Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a welcoming and community-focused Primary School in Brent to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for one opf their Year 1 classes.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for anyone passionate about education to secure a stable, rewarding role supporting children's learning from January 2026.\\n\\nThis is a Term-Time Only position, allowing you to align your working pattern with school holidays.\\n\\n * Location: Primary School in Wembley, North West London.\\n\\n * Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 8:30 am – 3:45 pm\\n\\n * Full-time, Term-Time Only (starting ASAP).\\n\\n * Pay Rate: £90 per day, upwards depending on experience and qualifications.\\n\\nYou will support the class teacher in managing the classroom environment, assisting with learning activities and providing direct support to pupils.\\n\\nWe are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for working with children.\\n\\n * We welcome applications from candidates who have experience working with children in any capacity – this could include previous school roles, nurseries, youth clubs, tutoring, sports coaching or volunteering.\\n\\n * Any additional skills or experience in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) would be a significant advantage.\\n\\n * Reliability, punctuality and a positive, patient attitude.\\n\\n * Good communication and interpersonal skills\\n\\n * All applicants will be required to complete comprehensive safer recruitment vetting checks, including references and a new or existing Enhanced DBS Check.
