The Role
This is a varied and rewarding teaching role combining targeted intervention work with class cover responsibilities. In the mornings, the successful candidate will deliver intervention groups for Year 3 pupils, focusing on raising attainment in core subjects. In the afternoons, the role will involve providing class cover across the school as required. The school is looking for a teacher who is confident managing behaviour, able to build strong relationships with pupils, and comfortable supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering targeted intervention groups for Year 3 pupils in the mornings

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally KS2
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Confidence delivering interventions and adapting learning for different abilities
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching and classroom support
