Are you a Psychology or Criminology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a specialist SEN setting? A welcoming and Outstanding-rated SEN School in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. About the Role
- Support students across year groups with their learning
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
- Assist in implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and EHCP targets
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
- Support students in small classes with a high staff-to-student ratio
You will be working with pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and PMLD.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Psychology or Criminology degree (preferred)
- Passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs
- Patient, calm, and compassionate approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- SEN, SEMH, or PMLD experience desirable but not essential
