We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the borough of Haringey. This is a full-time post supporting in a Year 4 class, working 1:1 with a pupil with ASD.

The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the school’s SEN team. You’ll help to create an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum.
  • Implementing individual learning plans and supporting children in developing social and emotional skills.
  • Assisting with behaviour management using positive, consistent strategies.
