Traffic Management Operatives New Career Opportunity Maidstone

Looking for a new career with full training and long-term opportunities within the traffic management industry? Vocation Recruitment Ltd are recruiting people to undertake Trainee Traffic Management training for roles with our client who are based in Maidstone.

No experience needed, you need to want to work, be able to drive and pass a drug & alcohol test and have a willingness to learn. You will gain your Temporary Traffic Management Basic Course (TTMBC) Airlock Gate Person Installer qualification & your Safety Critical Medical. We will supply you with your full 6 Point PPE and the work.

Induction Presentation, Drug & Alcohol Test (D&A), HR Manager chat, Q&A
Wednesday 3rd June 2026 - 09:30 am - 3:00 pm
TTMBC (Temporary Traffic Management Basic Course) (9:30 am - 12:30pm)
Gate Person Airlock Installer Course (1:00 pm - 3:30pm)
Thursday 4th June 2026 - (45-minute/1-hour time slot)
Occupational Health / Safety Critical Medical

Eligibility:

  • Be available for the Induction, Training & Occupational Health / Safety Critical Medical dates.
  • Must be able to pass a D&A (drug & alcohol) test, which is a swab test, not urine.
  • Have a full UK driving OR bike licence (own transport preferred due to work location)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have the full right to work & UK Residency for 3 years or more.
  • Be available to work immediately.

Documents to bring:

  • Passport, Birth Certificate / Biometric Card (if required)
  • National Insurance Proof (Card, Payslip, / HMRC letter)
  • Proof of Address (dated within the last 3 months)
  • Any medications / prescriptions you are currently taking
  • Bank details (if we already have this on your employee application, you will not need to bring it in with you)

  • Reliable and hardworking
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to work days, nights and weekends when required
  • Be punctual, be able to speak to people and work as a team
