Having secured contracts across the West Midlands for the next 3 - 4 years, we are now seeking an additional Employability Trainer to join our team at our HQ in Halesowen. You will be supported by an experienced trainer, building upon your employability knowledge whilst introducing the traffic management sector to you. We have pre-existing, written, tried and tested traffic management programmes; no prior traffic management knowledge is needed.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver inspiring, engaging, and enjoyable training sessions to both groups and individual unemployed learners.
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that motivates participants to grow in confidence, earn qualifications, and seize employment opportunities.
- Guide learners through tailored individual development plans and one-to-one sessions, celebrating their progress at every step.
- Facilitate interactive group tasks, CV-writing sessions, and occasional online learning to meet diverse learner needs.
- Provide constructive and insightful feedback to empower learners to overcome barriers and unleash their potential.
- Monitor, evaluate, and enhance training processes to deliver an outstanding learning experience.
- Accurately report daily attendance and uphold policies on Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection, and Safeguarding.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., Award in Education and Training Level 3 [PTLLS], Cert Ed) and experience teaching post-16 learners.
- A valid UK driving license and access to your own transport.
- Experience of working with unemployed learners.
- Understanding and knowledge of working with a mix of people from all backgrounds.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5.00 PM.
- Free car parking on-site.
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
- Free company close down at Christmas with no holiday allowance required.
- Comprehensive training is provided with ready-made course content.
- Successful candidates must provide original or certified documents, pass an identity check, verify entitlement to work in the UK, and complete a DBS application and two reference checks.
