Overview
VNI Finance are working exclusively on behalf of a well-established and growing International business to recruit a Management Accountant into their Glasgow-based finance team.
This role offers exposure to management accounting, business partnering, controls, and reporting, making it a strong fit for a first-mover from practice seeking broad commercial experience in industry.
The position operates on a hybrid basis, with 3 days onsite one week and 2 days the following week.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock/inventory reporting and analysis
- Business partnering with operational teams across the business
- Supporting forecasting and reporting cycles
- VAT returns, statutory accounts preparation and audit support
- Driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls
Qualifications
- Recently qualified ICAS/ACCA / CIMA
- Looking to make a first move from practice into industry
- Commercially minded with strong communication skills
- Keen to gain varied exposure within a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with stakeholders across finance and operations
