The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to support the finance leadership team during a key growth phase. This role will take ownership of month-end processes, management reporting, and financial controls, ensuring accurate and timely financial information across the business. This is a fast-paced, commercially focused environment where you will play a key role in delivering insight, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and deliver the month-end close process across multiple entities
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Manage AP/AR cycles and perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete stock reconciliations and investigate variances
- Produce insightful variance analysis and management reporting
- Maintain strong financial controls, compliance, and data governance standards
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to support operational and strategic objectives
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within accounting or finance roles
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with pace, urgency, and accountability in a retail or consumer-focused environment
